About Anew Law

A boutique Gold Coast law firm offering practical, personal legal advice to individuals, families and businesses.

Our approach

Anew Law is based in the Gold Coast. We help clients with property, corporate and commercial, and family law matters.

We started Anew Law to offer what many clients tell us they miss: direct access to their lawyer, advice in plain English, and clear information about costs from the start. When you work with us, the lawyer you meet is the lawyer who looks after your matter.

Whether you are buying a property, setting up or selling a business, or working through a separation, we take the time to understand what matters to you. Then we give you practical advice you can act on.

Why clients choose us

1

Direct access

You deal directly with your lawyer, not a chain of staff. You'll always know who is handling your matter.

2

Plain-English advice

We explain your options and risks clearly, so you can make confident decisions.

3

Clear costs

We explain how we charge before we start, and provide written cost estimates and fixed fees where the work allows.

4

Local and bilingual

Based in Gold Coast, we work with clients across the Gold Coast and South East Queensland, in English and Mandarin.

Audrey was admitted as a lawyer by the Supreme Court of Queensland in April 2021. She founded Anew Law to give clients direct, practical advice from a lawyer who understands both the law and the commercial realities behind it.

Audrey has extensive experience in private legal practice across a range of commercial, corporate and family law matters. She has assisted clients with business transactions, retail and commercial leasing, corporate structuring, shareholder disputes and related commercial litigation. Her experience includes advising and representing clients in shareholder litigation and oppression proceedings. In family law, Audrey has assisted clients in resolving property disputes and negotiating parenting arrangements, both through private agreements and proceedings before the Family Court. She takes a practical and resolution-focused approach while providing support and representation where formal court intervention is required.

As in-house legal counsel for a large international catering and retail business, Audrey reviewed and negotiated supply and purchasing agreements. She also trained commercial teams on competition law, workplace rights and corporate compliance. That experience shapes how she advises business owners: practical, commercially focused and to the point.

Audrey studied law in both China and Australia. She works comfortably with clients from diverse backgrounds and can advise in English or Mandarin.
